CSSH Membership Instructions

• Membership Application: Review membership categories and requirements in the by-laws (Article IV) on the website.

• Prospective Member Status: After Executive Committee approval, you become a Prospective Member. You must present at the Prospective Members Meeting (mid-January, within 2 years of approval) to qualify for Active or Associate Active membership.

• Presentation: 10–15 minutes; may be a prior research project, current practice case, or other educational topic.

• Dues & Fees:

  • Annual dues: $150 (due in January, subject to change).

  • Dinner meetings: $150 per person, paid by members. (subject to change)

• Meeting Details:

  • Location rotates

  • Time: Cocktails 6:30pm; dinner & meeting at 7pm.

  • Reservations must be made at least one week in advance. If you cancel less than 7 days before the event, you’ll still be charged. Future bookings may need to be paid for in advance and are non-refundable.

• Guests: Must be sponsored by a member (who covers their dinner cost).

• Attendees: Members, sponsored guests, hand surgeons, therapists, fellows, residents, and guest lecturers.

• Attire: Professional (suit/blazer for men; suit/skirt/pantsuit for women).

• Scheduling Presentation: Contact Program Director early (slots fill quickly).
